IC Mechanical Inc., recognizing the growth factor of the Pharmaceutical Industry and its need for complex, on-time, GMP driven projects, began pursuing opportunities in this market in 1996. The leadership at ICM saw this strategic move as a natural extension of its Clean Room Environments experience. Since this beginning, ICM has consistently outperformed our customers' expectations, and developed a customer base built on repeat business. IC Mechanical has been awarded and successfully completed projects ranging from $500 to more than $5 Million. R.P. Scherer, Inc., one of ICM's first customers, continues to be a valued customer under the name of Catalent Pharma Solutions, Inc. Other customers include Granutec (now Nova-Pharm), Somerset Pharmaceuticals, and SmithKline Beecham Laboratory.
In September, 2001, Integrated Project Services (IPS) selected ICM as the contractor to complete the Mechanical and Plumbing infrastructure for ANDRX Pharmaceutical's new 90,000 square foot, one-story manufacturing building located in Weston, Florida. With a timeline of slightly more than one year, ICM quickly ramped-up to meet the challenge of this project. |
