Tom Szikszay, President
With over 30 years of experience, Tom brings a quality of leadership that guarantees success.
1973-began his construction career as an apprentice with the Sheet Metal Union Local 533 in Flint, Michigan.
1977- graduated his apprenticeship as a sheet metal journeyman with many years experience in the industrial, commercial and nuclear power plant industry.
1985-joined Carrier as a sales engineer. He worked directly with engineers and contractors selecting and specifying equipment for their projects.
1990-joined a major HVAC contractor in Tampa, leading their design/build division.
1995-Tom started IC Mechanical focusing on design, engineering and construction for Industrial and Commercial markets.
Tom is an active member of: Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

In 1995, Tom started IC Mechanical. He designed, sold and installed systems for manufacturing, dust collection, clean rooms, chilled water systems and process equipment for Johnson & Johnson, Essilor Optical,
Bausch & Lomb, Pepperidge Farms, Cardinal Health (R.P. Scherer, N.A.), Smith Nephew Pharmaceuticals, and Reynolds Aluminum. Tom has designed and installed HVAC systems in Florida, California, Mexico,
Minnesota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Texas.
Tom’s wide array of experience in all aspects of construction and ultimate focus on the customer provides I/C Mechanical and Florida Process Piping with a focus on customer satisfaction and follow through.
Tom is a member of the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter Associated Building Contractors, (ABC).

Jason R. Withrow, P.E., Vice President
Jason received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and is a registered professional engineer in Florida, Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georga, Hawaii,
Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee and Pennsylvania. Jason attained his professional engineering license and joined a $50 million/year
design/build mechanical contractor with a state-wide presence in Florida as Director of Design Technology.
As Vice President at I/C Mechanical, he is responsible for all aspects of design and construction of design/build mechanical projects, marketing coordination efforts and business operation. Clients include
Essilor of America, Milroy Optical, School Board of Pinellas and Hillsborough County, Hercules Hydraulics, Dupont Publishing, Bell South and GTE/Verizon. Jason is an active member of the
Association of Building Contractors (ABC) and the American Society of
Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

Ed Ruark, P.E., President RCE Construction
Ed Ruark attended the Florida Institute of Technology and graduated from the University of South Florida's College of Engineering Program with a BSE in Industrial Engineering. Prior to creating Ruark Construction
& Engineering (RCE), he was Vice President/Engineering Services for The Perry Company and Assistant Vice President of Engineering Services for R.R. Simmons Construction, both Tampa Bay area construction firms.
As a registered Professional Engineer, Ed provides technical expertise for RCE’s industrial and manufacturing clients in all aspects of material production flow and plant layout and design. Responsibilities include
schematic drawing and construction document delivery, project scheduling, and overall project engineering, design, project management and coordination. Additionally, Ed produces computer aided design drawings for
industrial plants, office programming and space planning.
As an active member of both the Florida Engineering Society's Tampa Bay Chapter and the National Society of Professional Engineers, Ed has served these organizations as President and Chairman of the Ethics Committee. He
is a graduate of Leadership USF (Class of 1992) and Leadership Hillsborough (Class of 1995). He is a past member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers and the Bay Area's Manufacturer's Association. Ed is also the
Commodore of the Davis Island Yacht Club.
